1. Core Privacy Position
Debt Free Journey is designed to be local-first.
Your debt information stays on your device by default. We do not provide account creation, cloud sync, or backend debt storage in this version of the App.
2. Information You Enter
The App may store the following data locally on your device:
- debt names and debt types
- starting balances and current balances
- interest rates
- minimum and planned monthly payments
- payment history and notes
- achievement progress
- selected journey and appearance themes
- premium or ad-removal status
This information is stored locally so the App can function offline.
3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Through Core Tracking
We do not intentionally collect your debt records, payment entries, or notes on our servers through the core tracking experience.
4. Ads and Third-Party Services
The free version of the App may display Google AdMob banner ads. AdMob may collect or process device and advertising data according to Google's own privacy documentation.
If you buy the one-time premium upgrade, Google Play may process purchase-related information for billing and restoration purposes.
These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Diagnostics and Store Services
Depending on the platform and device configuration, app stores or mobile operating systems may collect technical diagnostics, crash information, or transaction metadata independently of us.
6. Data Retention
Your locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app data, or uninstall the App.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable steps in the app design to reduce unnecessary data exposure, including local-first storage and offline functionality. However, no device or software environment can be guaranteed completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the core functionality.
9. Your Choices
You can:
- review and edit your debt information in the App
- delete debts and payment history manually
- reset all stored app data from the Settings screen
- uninstall the App to remove locally stored data from the device, subject to platform behavior
10. International Use
If third-party services such as Google AdMob or Google Play process data, that processing may occur in jurisdictions outside your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Last Updated date when changes are made.
